QUALITY ASSURANCE
According to ENAC, the reference standard for the accreditation of a calibration laboratory is UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025. This standard is a reference guide for laboratories that carry out testing or calibration activities and that aim to demonstrate:
- That the laboratories have an effective and continuously improving quality management system, which enables them to manage and use the laboratory documentation, both managerial and technical.
- That they are technically competent, demonstrating technical competence of personnel, adequate facilities and environmental conditions, validated methods, controlled equipment and reliable standards with traceability to International System Units.
This standard guarantees traceability and reliability of calibration results.
The LAC/IDR is accredited by ENAC in the area of "Fluid Velocity" according to UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025, with accreditation nº 134/LC10.095 since 2003.
